Foundation and Early Beginnings
General Survey G�zetme Ltd. Sti. was established in Istanbul, Turkey, with a vision to provide reliable and professional inspection services for agricultural commodities. Starting with a small team of dedicated experts, we began offering basic inspection and surveying services to local grain traders and exporters.
GAFTA Accreditation Achievement
A major milestone in our journey - GSI obtained GAFTA (Grain and Feed Trade Association) accreditation, marking our entry into the international inspection arena. This prestigious certification enabled us to serve global clients and established our reputation for quality and reliability in the commodities inspection sector.
Laboratory Services & FOSFA Certification
Expanded our service portfolio with the establishment of our first accredited laboratory facility. Achieved FOSFA (Federation of Oils, Seeds and Fats Associations) certification, enabling comprehensive testing services for oils and oilseeds. This expansion positioned GSI as a full-service inspection and testing provider.
Regional Network Expansion
Strategic expansion across Turkey and neighboring regions with the opening of multiple branch offices and inspection points.
